The 2018 Foundation Level qualification is suitable for anyone who needs to demonstrate practical knowledge of the fundamental concepts of software testing including people in roles such as testers, test analysts, test engineers, test consultants, test managers, user acceptance testers and software developers. It is also appropriate for individuals who need a basic understanding of software testing including project managers, quality managers, software development managers, business analysts, IT directors and management consultants. Exam Detail: ISTQB® exams are administered by the Member Boards and the Exam Providers. ISTQB® exams are organized in a consistent way world-wide and are based on a precisely defined number of questions, varying depending on the certification level; questions are distributed in accordance to the syllabi topics and to K-Levels. Foundation Level and Advanced Level exams are based on Multiple-Choice questions. Each Multiple-Choice question consists of a question stem and a list of possible options (solutions) and can be either single-answer or multiple-answer (Pick-N). A single-answer type question has 4 suggested options, of which one, and only one, is correct. For a Pick-N type question, the candidate is presented with 5 suggested options, with 2 correct options to be selected.
